Municipal leaders, nonprofits, and Floridians across the state unite to strengthen climate resilience at a time of challenges
From October 6 to 12, Florida Climate Week (FCW) returns for its fifth consecutive year with more than 80 in-person and virtual events focused on strengthening resilience and advancing local climate solutions. As the largest event of its kind in Florida, it offers residents the opportunity to participate in conversations, workshops, cultural activities, and collaborative actions to address the most pressing climate challenges.
With events spanning every corner of the state, there is something for everyone. From policy discussions and clean energy workshops to art, storytelling, and youth-led programs, FCW is designed to connect citizens with practical tools and inspiring ideas.
Municipal Leadership in Action
This year, several municipalities across Florida have issued proclamations in recognition of Florida Climate Week, underscoring the importance of local leadership in the face of statewide and federal funding cuts.

- North Florida - spearheaded by the City of Jacksonville.
- South Florida - with gatherings from Miami to Jupiter and beyond.
- West Coast - community activities around Tampa and St. Petersburg.
- Central Florida - programs and sessions around Orlando.
