Since 1996, Camp Boggy Creek has made it possible for children with serious illnesses to enjoy a camp experience in a safe, medically sound environment. The 232-acre camp serves children ages 7-16 who’ve been diagnosed with chronic or life-threatening conditions. Camp is a magical place where children are encouraged to explore new things and “just be kids”, meanwhile discovering that they are not alone in their journey.
Located just a short drive from Orlando, Florida, over 1,000 children entered the gates of Camp Boggy Creek where they swam, fished, went horseback riding, sang songs, and soared down the zip-line.
Children with serious illnesses often miss out on many of the wonderful moments of childhood; moments that encourage them, help them grow and build their self-confidence. VoLo Foundation is committed to supporting Camp Boggy Creek to give these empowering moments of adventure, laughter, and friendship to children with serious illnesses- moments that will help change their lives forever.
