VoLo Foundation’s grant supports the launch of the graduate certificate using the Environmental Finance & Risk Management (EFRM) program. This curriculum utilizes financial modeling and environmental science to train future workers to assess, manage, and reduce risks associated with major issues such as climate change and sea-level rise.
The EFRM program is the first-ever integrated, holistic, cross-disciplinary training developed to prepare ‘green financial engineers’ in economic and natural system interactions, allowing them to better assist in managing society’s environmental risks.
